Under the guidance of a contemporary narrative collage artist, explore a series of projects designed to boost creativity and prepare you for the wonderful world of mixed media collage.

Mixed Media College is art that makes its own rules. A series of projects to boost your creativity and prepare you for the wonderful world of mixed media collage. As a Contemporary Narrative Collage Artist, Jill is a knowledgeable guide who loves sharing tips and ideas for this exciting art form.

Overall goal: Provide students with the tools and techniques to create mixed media artwork.

Learning objectives:
" Identify and learn the terms related to mixed media art.
" Learn how to use tools and materials to maximize creativity.
" Learn skills and techniques to jump start creativity.
" Learn how to professionally present artwork.

Class meets every other Saturday; Sep 23, Oct 7, Oct 21 and Nov 4 Please wait to purchase supplies until class has meet sufficient enrollment. Student list of basic supplies and tools to be provided for every class is below: " misc acrylic paints (good basic colors: black, white, red, yellow & blue) " Fluid acrylic paint iridescent gold (tube of iridescent gold will also work) " Misc. acrylic brushes " self-healing cutting board " containers for water & mixing paint etc. " basic water color tray " Yes!
