Developing Transformative Leaders in Northwest Montana What does visionary leadership look like? In this program, we'll explore the secrets and common attributes of the world's trailblazing leaders, offering an overview of the leadership landscape with insights and key takeaways that can be put into immediate use. Each session will concentrate on one of the four pillars of leadership effectiveness, enabling participants to dive deeply into the subject and discover their "true north" as an authentic leader: - An understanding of your role and responsibility as a leader in tumultuous times - A set of core leadership skills that will enable you to lead with patience, perseverance and fierce commitment to cause - A networking forum to share ideas and explore solutions to pressing leadership issues and challenges; how great leaders are made - An opportunity to determine next steps to further develop your leadership skills...to chart your path forward and accelerate your career The 4th session will focus on Self Leadership with a panel of local entrepreneurial leaders discussing what it takes to build business in the face of daunting competition, demanding customers, and a tough economy as well as how to hire, develop, and keep talented employees. They'll also share their experiences with meeting goals, making budgeting decisions and helping their teams avoid complacency. To learn more about how visionary leaders are made, we highly recommend the purchase of “Hearts Touched with Fire” by Harvard Professor David Gergen.
