Led by a highly qualified HR instructor, our intensive SHRM-CP/ SHRM-SCP preparation seminar, combined with the SHRM Learning System, presents a comprehensive and detailed review of the current SHRM Body of Applied Skills and Knowledge (the SHRM BASK™). Identify your areas of strength to build on and see where you need further concentrated study in preparation for either exam. Cindy Carpenter will build upon your independent studies, guiding you through interactive discussions, sample test questions, and periodic progress checks - plus homework assignments. While this workshop should not be considered your only preparation for certification, it will serve as a very valuable component to help you focus your study efforts and maximize your results. The 2024 SHRM Learning System is a separate purchase (estm $585) and required to participate in this course and to begin your exam preparation prior to the workshop for your greatest benefit. Cindy Carpenter

Cindy Carpenter holds the two top Human Resource certifications - the SPHR (Senior Professional Human Resources) and SHRM-SCP (Society of Human Resource Management - Senior Certified Professional). With a degree in Business Education from the University of Montana, she has over 25 years of training experience primarily focused on human resource and people topics. To compliment her training background, she has been a practicing Human Resource professional in the Banking and Insurance industries as well as owning her own business, Carpenter Business Resources, LLC. Cindy's business model allows her to customize her resources to meet a business owner's needs, whether it be onsite or virtual, provide training, employee benefits and services, problem resolution or simply as a needed resource. Cindy's background includes work experiences beyond Human Resources, supporting other family business ventures. As a business owner and as an HR professional, she understands the challenges faced by companies regardless of size or industry Cindy is an adjunct faculty member at Flathead Valley Community College through the Continuing Education Center. She is a member of the Flathead Valley Chapter of SHRM, having served on the Board in a variety of positions over the past 15 years. Cindy is also a member of the National Society of Human Resource Management.
